I find that art is how I explore and sometimes make sense of the world around me. I’m drawn to small details, like reflections on glass, the movement of water, the play of light across color, and how those moments can bring on emotions without words. In my art I try to capture what I see and what I imagine with realistic details with a sense of story or mood.
I enjoy using materials like colored pencil and acrylic paint to layer color, texture, and feeling. Lately, I’ve been drawn to what’s possible with digital art and design. I’d like to discover how visual choices such as shape, balance, and tone might affect the way people experience an image or possibly animation. I’m fascinated by that connection between art and what people perceive.
Whether I’m drawing a still life, painting from nature, or creating something completely imagined, I’m always trying to capture a sense of presence; a quiet moment when something ordinary becomes meaningful.
For me, art isn’t just about technique; it’s about curiosity, reflection, and the joy of seeing in new ways.
